Emergency Planning Launch priority

What is emergency-response training, and who should receive it?

Emergency-response training teaches people how to carry out their assigned roles during foreseeable emergencies. It should translate a written plan into observable actions: recognizing an emergency, reporting it, receiving an alarm, evacuating or sheltering, accounting for people, assisting visitors or people with access needs, providing trained First Aid, and communicating with responders.

Places of Worship Launch priority

How can a church or place of worship create a security plan?

A place of worship should build its security plan around its people, mission, facility, and actual risks. Start by appointing a security coordinator and multidisciplinary planning team. Identify regular services, schools or childcare, offices, counseling, food programs, holidays, public events, cash handling, parking, and times when few people are present. Then assess entrances, sightlines, lighting, locks, communications, medical resources, evacuation routes, severe-weather areas, and access for emergency responders.

Events Launch priority

How much does event security cost, and how many guards will my event need?

Event security cost and staffing cannot be determined responsibly from attendance alone. The plan should consider venue size and layout, public or invited access, entrance count, event duration, age range, alcohol service, cash handling, performers or notable guests, parking, prohibited items, prior incidents, emergency exits, local requirements, and the duties assigned to security.

Manufacturing & Warehousing Launch priority

What does warehouse and manufacturing security include?

Warehouse and manufacturing security typically combines access control, perimeter protection, patrol, shipping and receiving controls, incident reporting, and emergency coordination. The plan should protect people as well as inventory, tools, raw materials, finished goods, vehicles, intellectual property, and critical equipment.

Retail Launch priority

What is loss prevention in retail, and how can security help?

Retail loss prevention is the organized effort to reduce preventable loss while protecting customers, employees, inventory, and the shopping experience. Loss can involve shoplifting, employee misconduct, vendor or receiving errors, fraud, damaged goods, weak inventory controls, administrative mistakes, or unsafe practices. Security guards are one layer of the program, not the entire solution.

Residential Communities & Property Management Launch priority

What security services do apartment communities and HOAs need?

Apartment communities and HOAs need security services matched to their layout, activity, and recurring problems. Common options include courtesy patrol, a dedicated on-site officer, gate or visitor support, parking and amenity patrol, after-hours checks, incident response, and documented reporting. The right mix depends on property size, access points, resident population, public roads, pools or clubhouses, parking conditions, prior incidents, and management’s lawful rules.

Contract Security Launch priority

What is contract security?

Contract security is an arrangement in which an organization hires a licensed security company to supply and manage officers for defined locations, schedules, and duties. The security company is generally responsible for recruiting, licensing verification, scheduling, payroll, relief coverage, supervision, and service administration, while the client defines business needs and approves site requirements.

How do written post orders and a custom security plan protect my property?

Written post orders convert a security contract into clear instructions an officer can follow during a shift. A custom security plan explains the broader risks, layers of protection, communication, and performance goals. Together they reduce ambiguity, improve consistency, and give supervisors and clients a fair basis for training and review.

Program Management & Reporting Launch priority

What reports will I receive from the guards assigned to my property?

Clients should normally receive a daily activity report for routine shift activity and a separate incident report for significant events. The exact format and delivery schedule must be established in the contract and post orders; not every security company or assignment uses the same fields.

How does GPS patrol verification work?

GPS patrol verification uses location data from an approved device or reporting application to document that an officer was at a location when a patrol activity or report was recorded. Depending on the system, it may show a point, route, checkpoint, arrival and departure time, or exception. It supports accountability, but it does not by itself prove what the officer observed or how well a task was performed.

Does Arrow provide 24/7 security coverage and 24-hour on-call assistance?

Arrow’s website explicitly lists “24 hour on call emergency assistance,” but it does not separately promise that every new 24/7 post can be staffed or that an unassigned officer will arrive within a particular time. Those concepts must not be conflated. A 24/7 post means scheduled officers continuously cover the assignment. Twenty-four-hour on-call assistance means a company contact is available to address urgent service needs under the agreed process.
