Arizona armed and unarmed security guard training

Choose the guard-card path that matches your work

Arrow Security provides Arizona guard-card training through Arizona Guard Cards, with separate pathways for unarmed and armed security work. The unarmed course provides the core preassignment foundation. The armed pathway adds firearms instruction, a written examination, and live-fire qualification.

Course completion does not automatically issue a guard card or guarantee employment. Arizona DPS reviews each registration application, and employers may add assignment-specific requirements. Start by choosing the credential that matches the work you intend to perform.

Renewal and Requalification

The unarmed course can support the recurring training requirement described by the provider, while armed registrants also need the applicable recurring firearms requalification. Confirm the current schedule and eligibility before enrolling.
