AVIRT—Active Violence Immediate Response Training—is designed to help people recognize warning signs, improve situational awareness, make rapid response decisions, and provide critical bleeding control when a violent emergency occurs.
The course combines discussion, practical skills, and scenario-based learning. Participants review how to escape or evade danger when possible, how to respond when escape is not possible, and how to control severe bleeding while professional responders are on the way.
No training can guarantee a particular outcome in an emergency. AVIRT provides a structured way to learn, practice, and discuss response options.
