What to know
Temporary does not mean informal. To prepare an accurate plan, provide the event date and operating hours, venue address and layout, expected attendance, age range, entrances and exits, parking arrangements, alcohol service, cash or valuable property, prohibited items, prior concerns, emergency contacts, and any venue or insurance requirements. The security company should define officer arrival and release times, post locations, patrol areas, credentials, communications, reporting, escalation procedures, and coordination with venue staff or public-safety agencies.
For non-event temporary coverage—such as a broken gate, vacant property, construction phase, equipment delivery, employee separation, or camera outage—describe the specific vulnerability and how long it is expected to last.
