What to know
Internet or cellular requirements depend on the tower’s configured functions. Local recording may work differently from remote viewing, live monitoring, alerts, or client access. Arrow’s public page discusses recording and monitoring but does not specify whether its current units use cellular service, Wi-Fi, another connection, or local-only storage. Coverage quality can also vary by location.
Before ordering, ask for the current model specifications: solar and battery capacity, expected operating conditions, connectivity method, signal survey, local recording behavior during an outage, data plan, cybersecurity controls, maintenance schedule, and what happens if power or communications fail. The written proposal should distinguish recording from live monitoring and state who receives system-health alerts. A camera tower is only reliable when power, connectivity, placement, and response procedures are designed together.
